Beaches

Kings Beach is one of the leading surf and swimming beaches on the Sunshine Coast. It is patrolled by lifeguards 365 days a year. It is surrounded by rock pools to explore, cafes and restaurants to while away the time and numerous walks to take in the sea air. There is a magnificent free-entry salt-water swimming pool that is child friendly and shaded.

The Kings Beach foreshore is a family haven with a range of activities available: interactive water features, children's playground, flying fox, BBQ facilities, picnic areas and clean amenities. There are disabled facilities and access to parks and walks. Caloundra is also the home of a range of water activities including surfing, snorkeling, kite and wind surfing, scuba diving, kayaking and jet skiing, as well as the location for beautiful walks. Its only a short stroll to the tropical waters and sandy beaches of the Pumicestone Passage.
